Chapter 101. What Is Your Name?

“Is the old lady causing trouble again?” Ethan asked.

Bruce's jaw clenched in frustration.

“She said that she would look for the Young Madam at her school if we would not let her see her granddaughter.”

“I had to give her money before she quieted down.”

Jane's brow pinched in surprise. It was possible she had not heard him clearly.

“Money?”

“For her travel expenses back to the nursing home, Young Madam,” Bruce added carefully.

“Oh. I see.” Jane gnawed on her lip.

Afterwards, Ethan brought her to lunch. Seeing that Jane was in a much better mood, he sent her back to class.

In the car, Ethan asked Bruce, “The old lady would not have run out of the nursing home all of a sudden. Who went there to meet her?”

“According to the people in the nursing home, Selene visited there yesterday. I have also gotten someone to investigate Madam Fitzergald.”

“She has two children: a son and a daughter.
