Chapter 87. Guilt

“Why? Did something happen?” Ivy asked suspiciously.

Bruce sighed as he felt a tingle of fear move up his spine and moved his phone farther away from him.

“The Young Master… misunderstood the Young Madam… he saw her with Young Master Davenport.”

Ivy trembled in rage at Bruce's tone. She had to bite back several curse words.

“Jane said you were very smart. I told her she was too simple-minded – with your low salary, how brainy can you be?”

“You should be happy Jane chose your Young Master at all, in that condition of his. She was worried about her husband the first time she ran to W County and asked someone where he was.”

“I was not able to contact her when she boarded that plane back then. I was worried about her – she flew to such a remote place just to take care of your Young Master, without caring about the price of the ticket.”

“I don't understand what you just said and I don't want to. I will assume I just heard a very big joke.”
