Chapter 12. Sophie Walters

[The Walters’ Mansion]

A maid suddenly rushed in and walked with a fast space toward the elegant woman who was sitting in the living room and in a respectful but excited tone, she said.

“Madam, Miss Sophie is back!”

The elegant woman blanked out for a while and looked lost and after coming back to her senses,  she looked at the maid and asked for confirmation, “Did you just say that Sophie is back?”

“Yes, madam! She is right outside the door and is about to come in.” The maid nodded hurriedly as she spoke.

Immediately after hearing that, the woman stood up agitatedly and rushed toward the door but before she got to the door, an excited and sweet looking girl ran toward her and screamed, “Mooom!”

The girl hugged the woman who was Mrs. Walters, Justin and Sophie’s mom warmly and twirled around. “I really missed you soooo much, mom!”

Mrs. Walters didn’t speak but her hands gently and dotingly stroked Sophie’s hair as her tears threatened t
