Chapter 62. A New Chapter Begins

A Year Later 

The familiar chime of the alarm clock pierced through the early morning calm. Still half-asleep, Sevi grumbled and scrambled for the snooze button. He rolled over and stretched, enjoying the warmth of the bed alongside him. He grinned as his eyes adjusted to the warm glimmer of morning pouring through the curtains, remembering the day that lay ahead of him. 

Mika moved next to him, her eyelashes flickering open. She smiled sleepily as she turned to face Sevi. "Good morning, love," she murmured, her voice soft and welcoming.
