Chapter 68. What Happened Two Years Ago?

As Mary scrolled on her phone, she saw a post from Mika. Seeing how happy she was, makes her feel sad and in pain. She stares at the photo for a few more minutes, but it was interrupted when Sam went inside the room and saw her preoccupied with something. 

"Are you alright?" he asked, and then she went back to her senses. 

"Yeah, I am fine," she then hides her phone under the pillow and smiled while looking at him. 

Later that day, Mary was about to go to the kitchen when her phone rings. She frowned while looking at the screen; it was unknown number. 

"Who might it be?" because of curiosity, she answers the call. 

"Who is this?" 

"Hi, Mary. It's me." 

"What? What are you taking about?" 

"It's me, Nathan. Mylene's dad," she was speechless and hung up the call. Her chest started to throb so fast after she ended the call. She was scared that Sam might found out that he wasn't the real father of Myl
