Gwen's POV
Sunday night, I glance at my drink and sniff it a bit to figure out what it is. Randall handed it to me not long ago. I didn't want to drink because last time I did, everything went wrong. I kissed Conrad, and Harper thought I was in love with him. I ended up developing a strange friendship with my teacher, which I wasn't seeking, and everything became a bit chaotic. Alcohol isn't good for my system; it doesn't help me do things right, it only makes them worse.
Harper is another issue. She has been so focused on trying to impress Conrad today that she kissed him in front of a bunch of people. To others, it might have seemed like an ordinary kiss, but for us, it meant "disaster."
