Gwen's POV

"You don't know that."

"You like him, and you'll realize it the hard way."

"I don't like Conrad, not right now."

"Wow, and here I thought it was him who denied everything in this relationship."

"I'm going to hang up."

"Go ahead," he says, and I can see him with a smile on his face. I know he's smiling and making fun of me. I discussed the trip I wanted to take with Logan because his father has connections in the airlines. He's a person with contacts who knows the prices for everything. I was excited to tell Conrad that we would go away for a weekend, as friends, and to figure out what I felt for him.

I've canceled the trip. After the abrupt way he found out, I didn't want us to go anywhere. For weeks now, I've been wondering if I like him or if I just see him as a friend, even before he confessed his feelings to me.
