“Are you okay?” he whispered, his tone full of concern.

Alice nodded, smiling a little. “Yes, I’m fine. You?”

“Better now,” Harry replied with a warm smile.

They were back in professional mode when suddenly another employee knocked on the door, but their gazes still conveyed deep affection.

“Come in!” Harry commanded, while Alice stood there in a professional manner.

A man in a brown shirt entered the room carrying documents. The young man momentarily greeted Alice with a small smile as she stood with the file in her hand.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Harry, I came to ask for a signature; this is a planning proposal document regarding our company’s latest project. I need your approval,” said the man while thrusting the document he was carrying.

Harry accepted it happily, without expression.

Realizing that Alice had to leave this room, she said goodbye.
