Josh's POV

As I sit beside Bea at a lively party, I can't help but notice that she seems distracted, as if searching for something or someone. Concerned, I gently ask her if everything is okay, placing a comforting hand on her back. Blinking her eyes a few times, she finally meets my gaze and musters up a smile, assuring me that she's fine. Relieved, I let her focus on her food and turned my attention back to chatting with Paul.

The atmosphere is filled with laughter and joy when suddenly, the group of boys approach us out of nowhere. They seem to be playfully pushing and nudging Ian, as if urging him to talk to someone special. Kate greets them warmly, waving her hands in friendly acknowledgment. Bea turns to see who it is, and her surprise is evident that the man before her is clearly someone she has been avoiding.

Curiosity piqued, I inquired what the boys wanted, directing my gaze towards Ian, who seemed to be the center of attention. With
