Chapter 72. Broken Trust

Angelica’s POV

I looked for the brothers everywhere to share the happy news, feeling strangely tired.

They were not in their offices, and when I called Zishan to ask about them, they weren’t in the forests either.

Aiden told me they went outside the pack for a meeting with another alpha, with whom they were trying to ally.

I looked at the time. It was only 8 pm. So why was I feeling so tired and sleepy out of nowhere? Almost as if someone was draining the energy out of me.

Shaking my head, I stood from the sofa to rush out when I saw the twins’ car parked outside the house.

Don’t. A voice inside me echoed.

I furrowed my brows and looked around before taking a deep breath. Right. How could I see anyone when the voice was coming from inside me? It will definitely take me some time to get used to it.

I stepped forward again.

Don’t go. Don’t tell them about Felicia. It will only turn things wrong. Your heart will break. The vo
