Angelica’s POV
“You need to eat something, Führerin.” Alchemist slid the plate of food towards me.
I looked at the food, my entire being repulsed by it, not because it wasn’t what I liked but because my insides were screaming in utter pain and heartache.
I shook my head at him, making the man sigh before he stood from his place and waved his hand in the sky.
“You are not eating because their negligence hurts you, and you still hope that they will come and get you once they know you are gone. Right? Though you are hurt, you still hope for them to come,” Alchemist said.
I looked down at my hands, ashamed because that was the truth.
The last time I had gone out of the pack because I misunderstood them and thought they were using me to get back to my stepfather, they had looked for me and done everything to find me.
Thus, I was hoping that once they realize their mistake, they’ll come looking for me.
