Kaytly was devouring a large piece of meat in a quiet Western restaurant in front of her. After the intense physical exertion from last night, she needed to replenish her energy.

Satisfied after finishing the last piece, she took a sip of fruit juice and leaned back in her chair, looking like a contented girl who had just eaten a hearty meal. It was hard to believe that she was the same person who had been ravenous moments ago.

She took out the note that Adam had left for her once again, her lips curling up as her thoughts wandered.
