Karina and Adam left the restaurant together. Karina couldn’t help but feel a tinge of disappointment as they walked. She had put in so much effort to catch his attention, but he seemed oblivious to her charms. In Karina’s beautiful eyes, a hint of sadness appeared.

Adam glanced at her but remained unfazed. He waved his hand, signaling a waiter to bring the bill.

“Thank you!” Karina stood up, her face adorned with a faint smile, though inside, she felt a tinge of frustration.
