Chapter 33

Adam held Kaytly as they entered the living room, and Mrs. Mirabel emerged from the kitchen, surprised to see them.

“Adam, you startled me!”

“Mrs. Mirabel? Why are you here?” Adam looked at the spread of food on the table and realized it wasn’t meant for just one person.

“What do you mean why? Can’t I come? I came here not to bother you two. Moreover, when you both feel hungry, there’s food to eat, isn’t that good?” Mrs. Mirabel said while quickly tidying up the tableware in the kitchen.

Hearing this, Kaytly blushed immediately. It seemed Mrs. Mirabel was very well aware of what they were doing upstairs. Previously, she had thought there was no one at home, but now it appeared she couldn’t control her feelings in the house.

Adam glanced at Kaytly’s flushed face, and a faint smile appeared on his lips. He bent down and whispered into her ear.

In a soft voice, he said, “Now you feel embarrassed, huh? Who told you to make such loud noises?”
