After their encounter, Adam exhaled smoke, feeling the coldness from Kaytly. He realized that his recent actions must have hurt her, and sadness surged within him.
Kaytly casually adjusted her clothing, trying to ease the pain in her body. She cleared her throat, trying to suppress a cough as the smell of cigarettes overwhelmed her.
