Evelyn jumped in surprise when the alpha suddenly burst through the door. His angry eyes traveled around the room to find her standing on the balcony.

The omega gulped, her fingernails digging into her delicate palm as she tried to make herself look small as possible. Keiran took a deep breath as he strode towards her. He reminded the omega of a predator that was ready to attack.

The alpha gripped her hand, bringing her closer to him, while Evelyn let out a helpless whimper. His gaze hovered over the girl like the shadow of a thunderstorm.
