With the Nightstones all refusing to leave Nightfall until Lydia is woken up from her magically-induced coma, I decide to hold the meeting with all the Alphas at Alpha Gerald’s home. His home is a fortress, and he has the room to accommodate all the Alphas and their entourages. I’ll also get to have Coit with me for support during one of the most important meetings of my life. And despite not being on my home turf, I know I have the Nightstones on my side as allies.

Alpha Gerald is one of the most important allies I currently have. He’s part of the older generation of Alphas who have managed to keep their packs alive and thriving through the decades. With wisdom and experience, I’ve come to appreciate him over my time as an Alpha. Gerald is the kind of Alpha I hope to become someday.
