Night falls on the castle again. The days have started to blur together since I’ve been here. When I had my own home in the village, I was a step removed from the goings-on at the castle. From morning to dusk, I’ve spent my time hovering between my father’s office and my own, delegating tasks, working with his commanders to ensure our borders are safe from threats that lurk in the shadows, waiting for an in… like my upcoming nuptials.
