Star’s POV

I stubbornly tried to fight him but only gave in when he tightly pressed my neck.

“There’s one authority that governs everything here, human. And that authority is, you don’t get to disobey my orders. If you want to survive long enough to see the next day.”

“Then, kill me.” I narrowed my eyes at him.

“This wasn’t the tone you used minutes ago.” He let go of his hold on my neck and caressed my hair. “Now, be a good human and do as I ask.”

I knelt there and watched him, unable to do a thing.
