Her?

I frowned a bit as I peered into his eyes.

Who is the ‘her’ he kept on mentioning?

“What a joyous day this is for me,” he sighed. “I will get revenge for all the humiliations brother put me through. Just like I did with the first, I will do it with this one and all the human-pets he might get. I will make him experience what it means to go through so much intense pain it hurts just thinking about it.”

The more the man spoke, the more confused I got.

I just didn’t understand his words at all.

“Let’s go,” he said before he started for a direction opposite the one Master intended to take before the appearance of the female caused him to deviate from the path we were walking on.

I followed him like the puppet I was turned into.

A few of the maids we saw didn’t spare a glance at us as they hurried.

They only bowed at Master’s brother before they hurried off to wherever they were going.
