Chapter 66
It seemed my stomach was on a mission to kill me.
“Please, Lym, I need you,” I pleaded, hoping any deity out there might hear my plea and come to my rescue.
I turned on the bed, and silently cried.
“If death will—”
Just like the pain came, it ceased.
“What just happened?” I wondered aloud.
I sat up on the bed and touched my stomach.
The pain I felt not too long ago had disappointed me.
I felt no pain at all.

Lym arrived a few minutes later. But before her arrival, I went through four intense spells of pain.
“How do you feel?” Lym asked. She dropped the tray of food she brought to my bedside table before she turned to me.
“So?” She arched a brow.
“Like I’ve always felt. The only thing different is how heavy my stomach is,” I grimaced, while I glanced at the door, expecting my master to come in at any given time.
