Ray’s POV

They changed my room after that, and never locked me up. I was free to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. But not what I wanted to do the most.

Similarly to when I was brought here immediately after the massacre, the man who brought me here disappeared.

I haven’t seen him since the day he came in to tell me the exact motivational word I needed, to finish him off.

And without him here, my plans won’t work.

The first day I tried to leave, I ended up returning to the room. Guards with stern faces were stationed almost on all the doors, making it difficult for me to leave.

I’m yet to regain my strength after the soul-draining episode I faced.

The door to my room opened, and one of the maids who supply my meal walked in, with a tight expression on her face.

It seems all the maids here have a score with me.
