When I opened my eyes, I felt… 

No, that wasn't important. 

What was important was that I recognized the room I was in. The walls, the familiar ceiling staring down at me, the scent that filled me with a nostalgic feeling. 

I was… I was home. 

How was that possible? I remembered feeling Belladonna's warmth as she clung to me, her sweet, soft voice as she whispered words into my ears. 

After that… I remember nothing. I fell unconscious. And now I am home. 

Gianna has said that as soon as I found Belladonna, I was taking the next flight home. 

The door opened and I turned my head towards it to see Kross stepping in, his usual suit on but without the jacket, his tie loose, his hair disheveled. 

My chest tightened at the sight of him. 

He closed the door, not noticing that I was awake. When he walked towards me, that was when he finally noticed.
