A month after the exam, I received an acceptance email. That was when I knew it was a university, not a college. Since it was London, that made sense.
Fast forward to a week later and I was ready to go.
“Christopher will still be your driver,” Kross informed me as we all piled into the elevator with my bags.
Since he was standing behind me, I bent my head back and stared up at him. He stared down at me, but all I could see was his jaw.
“He’s coming with me to London?” I asked, still looking at him even though my neck was beginning to cramp.
“Yes.”
Kade placed a hand on the back of my neck, straightening it. “Don’t do that. You might break your neck.”
Axel caressed the back of my neck, smirking at Kade. “Our little rise isn’t so fragile, Kadey.”
And for the past month, this is how it’s been in the mansion; soft, caring, teasing. Listen, the sexual tension was still there, but it was subtle, just barely beneath the surface,
