Chapter 49

We settle on the bed properly as he kicks off the clothes from the bed and I get comfortable hiding my face into his neck.

“Shower or sleep?” He mumbles as he rubs my side softly.

The silence envelopes us and the only thing heard was the sound of our hearts beating, calm and soothing.

“Shower, you reek.” I finally said and he giggled.

“Don’t you want to hold onto me even if I’m dirty?” He joked and I pushed him away playfully.

“Love that overcomes dirt?” He laughs.

“Don’t be so cheesy.” I said laughing too.

He moves closer to me and pulls me close.

“But I don’t want to let go.” He said against my ears.

“Okay fine.” I said as I moved closer to him until there was no space in between us.

“Babe, what are you thinking of?” Ethan’s voice jolted me out of my reverie.

“Nothing.” I said blushing.

“Morning.” He said getting up from his position to kiss me.
