Eve

“I’ll make you feel better.” I said drawing Jason inside my room and closing the door behind me.

“You can sit.” I said pointing at my bed and he sat down.

“You see, I don’t know how all these things work but you’re drunk right now and you just need something to lift up your mood.” I said rummaging through my box for a movie.

“A movie to cheer you up.” I giggled.

What I usually do when I’m sad is watch home-alone or any other funny movie. So I wanted to help Jason with that. You know things are more fun when you’re drunk.

But Fate has other plans.

“Eve.” He calls my name and I leave the box and turn to face him.

“Hmmm.” I said looking at him even if I didn’t switch on the lights in my room, I could still make out his face in the dark.

“Come here.” He said tapping the side of my bed where he sat and I obliged.
