Since we weren’t that far from Max’s store, we walked back to the store instead of taking a cab like I insisted.

Max insisted that walking is good for the body and so I had no choice but to follow him because whenever Max throws a tantrum, I’m left with no options.

We walked until we got there and then we saw a courier coming out of the office.

“Looks like someone got a package.” I teased Max who walked faster to the office to meet the courier who seemed to be waiting for what I assumed to be the signature of the recipient.

“I’m the one you’re waiting for.” Max said the moment he stood in front of the courier.

“You’re the one I’m waiting for?” The courier seems to be startled.

“Yes, didn’t you just drop off something for me?” Max asked, confused by his attitude.

“You’re Mrs. Coleman?” The courier asked, drawing my attention.

“I was told she was a woman.” The courier seems to mumble to himself.

“That would be me.”
