Chapter 34

I awoke to the sound of shouting, which caused me to bolt upright. I looked around and noticed Matias wasn't there. Instead, I peered into the females' eyes. They were laughing and crossing their arms as they gazed at me.

I am not an early riser. I really mean it. I'm not a morning person at all. My hair was all over the place, I could tell. I yawned and stretched, seeking to shake off the shackles of sleep.

"Morning, Sleeping Beauty. You sleep like a brick. It took us ages to wake you up," Anna-Marie joked.

"Anyway. Come on, it's time to go shopping," Louise exclaimed.

I burst out laughing. I swear these girls were hilarious at times. I grumbled loudly. I mean, I'm not a morning person. My parents used to avoid waking me up because I might turn into a raging bull if someone got between me, my bed, and my beauty slumber.

I pushed myself into a sitting position before stretching some more to shake off the remaining vestiges of sleep. I took a bobble from my bed
