Chapter 35

Everyone looked at me as we strolled through the corridors. These were all Royal Pack members who had probably never met me before. They would grin and say hello to me. We were almost to the shop. When I heard a child giggling. I turned around when I heard laughter and saw this tiny boy, who couldn't have been more than five years old.

He raced up to me and took a step in front of me before bowing. I gave him a kind grin. With his small dimples, he was adorable. He then did something that took me by surprise. He hugged me, or rather my leg. The females beside me gasped. I raised the little boy, effectively carrying him. He chuckled as I took him safely into my arms.

"You are the beautiful princess everyone has been talking about," the boy said, his voice childish.

I cracked a smile.

"Aren't you adorable? What is your name?" I inquired.

"Connor," he said with a smile.

I observed a worried-looking woman dash over him, indicating that she was his mother. Sh
