Gianna's POV

I walked back and forth across the bedroom rocking slightly to sooth my beautiful baby boy in my arms. I rocked back and forth to keep him quiet and asleep. I already felt such a deep bond with my beautiful baby boy, I couldn't help but notice the features he had adopted from Matias. I was refusing to name my boy. Not until the outcome of the war when hopefully I could do it with Matias.

I hummed lightly as I moved about the room as I remembered a song my mother sung to me. My beautiful boy was out like a light as I held him delicately in my arms. The only time I had put him down was when I had cleaned myself up and gone back to my normal room. Everyone had left me alone for a couple of hours so I could bond with my beautiful boy but also allowed us privacy while we waited for the results of the war.
