Chapter 5. To Rage by the Price
Ansel wriggled away from the press of Alain’s knees on his stomach. The dark Alpha stood, letting him do so.
But before that, Alain let him taste the might of his kick one last time.
Ansel grunt in pain. Pushing, sobbing through his gritted teeth, Ansel managed to prop himself to a wooden pillar. He was barely standing, barely looking Alpha-ish.
