“I visited his grave countless times,” Caleb growled in a somber whisper. “We parted ways abruptly; I was the Beta, and he was the Alpha who chose a witch over his pack. Even his Luna was rejected and replaced... I assumed his position as Alpha, making the destined one my loyal mate!”

The wolf took a few steps forward, and my hands filled with magic, compelling him to stop.

“But thanks to your cursed Alpha, she was brutally torn away from me!” Roaring, he urged the surrounding wolves to show their fangs.

“So, do you want to repay the favor by killing me as revenge?” I snarled, laughing between sharp teeth.

“No!” Caleb spoke, smiling coldly. Something about him sent shivers down my spine. “I won't kill my niece; you have my blood... I came to warn you and make an offer!”
