POV: HARVEY
“You're always inconvenient, beast!” I roared at him, throwing him away, but his speed quickly brought him closer.
“Pathetic Alpha!” the beast shouted. “Your Luna reeks of other wolves, of your enemies, and yet you still protect her.”
“So you know where she is?” I stared at him firmly, aware that the beast had discerned her whereabouts.
“Since your secret meetings, I've known her location,” the beast laughed between its teeth.
“And, of course, you didn't consider telling me,” I growled, sinking my claws into its jaw, dislocating it, and relishing in its pain.
“We don't share secrets!” the beast retorted with another swipe, tossing me away. I gasped in pain; its strength increased with every moment. I had noticed that, with the hybrid's proximity, the beast had remained contained for longer. That abruptly changed after her departure. Something in her magic and essence held the key to ridding me of this demon.
