I was going to pull Warren’s limbs from his body in the slowest and most painful manner I could think of. Instead of being with my mate, of relishing the moments after our first time together I was stuck in a meeting. I glanced around the table. Dominic had excused himself for the restroom and now I was stuck with his men.

“Excuse me for asking this again, but why are you here?” I demanded as I glared at both of the wolves. They slunk down in their seats glancing at each other but not me. If I hadn’t let that tribute slip through my fingers last time I never would have had such worthless jackasses in charge of me.

“You’re under Dominic now. Because you fucked up,” one of the men sniggered into his fist. “It’s not every day he gets to be head of an entirely different family.”
