The dragon peeled away from her, head cocked to the side as he studied us. He just grinned, not the least worried about being outnumbered.

“Boston, deal with these wolves, will you?” He demanded.

“As you wish, Lord Eagon.” The voice chirped from somewhere behind me. I didn’t bother turning. I didn’t need to. I had every confidence in my pack.
