"The price," she said, her voice echoing like the whisper of the wind through the night. "The price for your Alpha's return is two bonds of the heart."

"Yes, which is why I have your mates frozen." She expressed with a heavy sigh as if she, a celestial being, was nervous to share the news with ME. Her voice, soft yet commanding, broke the silence that hung heavy in the air.
