"Kane?" I asked, trying to reach my brother through mind link, needing someone as I watched the drama unfold. Lottie, my precious mate, stood at the mercy of the moon goddess, her heart torn between impossible choices. The air crackled with tension, thick with the weight of the goddess's demands.
"I am here!" Kane fumed, and I could feel the anger wash through the bond that rivalled anything I had felt when Havoc had taken hold.
"What are we going to do?" I asked my brother, hoping he would have an answer or plan because the revelation that Lottie carried our children should have filled me with boundless joy, yet a storm of conflicting emotions overshadowed it.
