I simply couldn't close my eyes that night.
Hearing everything Theo told me about the little girl left me numb. The moment I saw her, I knew that somehow she would be a light in our lives. It was a feeling of belonging, fraternity, and a lot of love, but with all of Emília's situation, it got pushed aside. I confess I found myself looking for her several times, but never found her.
