Chapter 8. A Week or Seven Days (2)
Aires’s POV
“Man, this is going to be tough,” I whispered to myself while trying to sneak into the house through the back door, but unfortunately, get spotted in my tracks.
“That is a little unusual, don’t you think?” Mom shouted as she notices my effort to unlock the door without making a sound.
“Mom! What are you planting?” I asked, smiling.
“Good afternoon. Just checking the carrots, and why are you sneaking into your own home?” She asked.
“I wasn’t actually sneaking in, I just got a tummy ache and it hurts so bad, I feel like I’ve lost my strength.” I replied, descending my right index finger to my tummy and beginning to try to pierce my tummy with it.
“Maybe you’re hungry. Go inside and wait for me after eating. There’s a lot of explaining for you to do.” She replied, reminding me about my judgement day.
“Oh… Okay… Err, Mom, about that…”
“About that what?” She retorted, “Since when did you start telling lies, Aires? The last thing
