Kalla's POV

"I made every mistake, Kalla. Since I was young and I didn't even know it." I gasped as Finn immediately turned me around and hugged me tightly.

"Kalla, I lied when I told you that enemies were coming after me. Those were guardians from that damn council university."

"W-What? What are you talking about, Finn?"

"The enemies didn't chase me then; I ran away from that place. I don't belong in that place. I hated and cursed my own brother, Dastan, for throwing me inside that jail university against my will. I believed that he had become selfish just so that he could assert his kingship to everyone and that he wanted to train me like Evan to help him. But I was wrong—damn wrong.
