Chapter 22

Apollo POV

I sit back in the chair, my eyes never leaving her. I don’t know what’s wrong with her, but clearly something is. How else do you explain her passing out twice in one night? This time, I brought her to the clinic so she could get checked out.

The door creaks open and closes quickly. “I wondered how long it would take you to make an appearance.”

“Why is she here?”

“I don’t know, Atlas. She keeps passing out and I’m not sure why.” Atlas walks closer to me with his eyes on her.

“She’s beautiful.” I practically fall out of my seat. It may seem like a mild statement to most, but if you know Atlas, you know how major his words are.

Atlas is the oldest of us and has always been the ultra-responsible one. He has had the most on his shoulders, even t
