Ares POV

Atlas was supposed to have breakfast with my girl, and he did. He had a very limited breakfast, and I watched from the shadows. I waited for the right moment to snatch her up, and that time came when she left to take a phone call.

I made sure to follow her in the hallway. I could hear the phone call, and I didn’t like it. Who was he to question my mate and ask where she’s been? I especially didn’t like him demanding that she present herself in front of him. No one gets to demand anything of my little flower. I don’t care who they are or what title they hold.
