“Wow. I wish I had that kind of brain…” I commented after he told me he already had a song concept from that one line I said… that there was already a melody forming in his head.
“You don’t need to wish for that because your brain is already bigger… you’re smarter, so…” He pouted. “Me… I don’t think I could ever become a nurse like you. Medical terms are such a headache… and there’s so much to study with all those concepts, and you survived studying all of that. So… you’re smarter. Your brain is better.”
I laughed and shook my head, and for some reason, I didn’t argue with him because he had a point. It’s true that some people excel creatively, and others are just great academically, and when you’re really blessed, you’re good at both.
