And so, we followed Ashton’s plan. To stay safe and avoid provoking the stalker, Dylan and I decided to comply with the demand: only the two of us would go to the Yorsalee Building.

It was 7:58 PM when we arrived. We had just stepped off the kalesa we hired to bring us here, as neither of us knew where this building was. As soon as we disembarked, Dylan and I exchanged uneasy glances.

The building before us was abandoned, shrouded in darkness, and foreboding in every sense of the word. There were no streetlights nearby, and the interior of the building was pitch black. Ivy and moss crept up its walls, and the exterior was stripped of paint, leaving it as a decayed, eerie shell. It looked exactly like the kind of place where villains in movies kidnapped their victims.
