Because Sir Aries quickly agreed to the deal I proposed, the news spread just as fast. It wasn’t long before I received messages from Direk Lana and Candice asking about it.
I considered Lana and Candice as friends, but more in the “work friends” category. So when they asked why I had made such a big decision, I told them it was for personal reasons. I added that the story was too long and none of us had the time for me to explain or elaborate.

The whole thing felt like a plotline ripped from a teen fiction book, and if I shared it, I knew they’d tease me endlessly about it.
