Since Tate and I had to finish our performance, we missed the last train, and Zac picked us up. He drove us to my unit because I decided to have Doc Ken, Paige, and Sarah stay over for the night. They didn’t really have a choice anyway, since I was the only one who could take them in.
Besides, with no transportation back to Parkertown, they were all a bit out of it—especially Doc Ken, who was so unsteady on his feet that we struggled to support him. He was swaying from side to side, barely able to keep himself upright.
