Chapter 94. Is This Really Goodbye?

It was already quarter to midnight when we finished singing while drinking.

And just as I expected… I was the only one drunk because Lee, Paige, and Sarah were already asleep. How could they not get drunk and fall asleep quickly when they each drank a whole bottle in one go? On top of that, they cried while one of them decided to sing Whitney Houston’s “Where Do Broken Hearts Go.” Paige led them in singing that song, and they all cried while singing it. Even though I felt sad, I couldn’t cry because I ended up laughing at them since I wasn’t drunk.

Since the three were now sleeping on the couch, I turned off the TV and the speaker, then started cleaning up the bottles and dishes we had used.
