Chapter 100. 18th (or 154th) Birthday

Days passed, and the day of UD’s entrance exam results finally came. Lee, Paige, Sarah, and I decided that we should all have a sleepover since the results were set to be uploaded at exactly 12 AM. Now, we were at Sarah’s place, sitting on her large bed that was big enough to fit all four of us.

“Wait, guys… wait… wait!” Lee clapped her hands to get our attention. “We’ll all press the login button at the same time so we can see our entrance exam results together, okay?” she instructed.

“Okay…” Paige, Sarah, and I responded in unison.

Lee counted to three, and we all pressed the login button simultaneously. We screamed in excitement and nearly in unison exclaimed, “I passed!”

Not to boast, but since we were the Stanford valedictorians, I had expected us all to pass the programs we had applied for.
