Chapter 77

Sophia walked outside of the precinct after being informed that she had a visitor. It was unusual for anybody to pay her a visit at work. When she got outside, beside a street lamp, a man dressed in a casual yet professional outfit was standing, silently playing on his phone. Body leaning on the cement body of the street lamp and a keg resting as well. He looked utterly relaxed. It was unusual, he looked relaxed waiting.

"Lucas?" Sophia ignored the rapid beating of her heart and walked to him.

Lucas lifted his head from his phone. His beautiful blonde hair matched divinely with the sunlight. His skin was fairer than Sophia remembered even though she had spent the previous night going all through his social media accounts and his pictures on the internet. It did not come as a surprise to her that he was a public figure. I mean, his last name was Queens after all.

"Hey, beautiful!" He smiled beautifully.

"You should be the one called beautiful" Sophia thought.<
