Chapter 4

The next day, the office buzzed with the arrival of Matheus’s team. People from different departments gathered near Alanna’s office. Alanna stepped out of the elevator, followed by Charlotte.

“Good morning, Ms. Alanna.”

“What’s all this commotion?”

“Mr. Styles’ team has arrived!”

“His annoying habit of showing up early everywhere.”

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing, but why all the commotion?”

“You’ll find out soon enough!”

As she entered her office, she found three elegantly dressed Alphas and a Latina Omega with huge breasts and a gigantic rear. She was undeniably sexy; from the back, she resembled Kim Kardashian on her best days.

“Good morning, Alanna.”

“Good morning, Styles.”

“This is my team: Anthony, David, and Alexia.”

Matheus introduced Alexia while he placed his hands on her shoulders. Alanna looked away.

“Nice to meet you all! I’m Alanna Tomlinson. I’ll have my secretary show you to the conference room where you can work.”

They left the room, and Alanna called Vanessa.

“Hello!”

“He touched the back of a hot Omega right in front of me!”

“So what?”

“So, after he kissed me yesterday, he’s touching her today? Jerk! He must have ‘helped’ her too.”

“Maybe he’s an Alpha who travels the world helping needy Omegas, lol.”

“Huh.”

“Does it bother you?”

“No! I’m just amazed at how much of a jerk, a scoundrel, shameless, and despicable he is.”

“Wait… You kissed, and you didn’t tell me? What?”

“That’s not relevant now, Vanessa.”

“Aaaaaaaa it is! Spill the beans!”

“It’s nothing… Just a simple kiss, no tongue.”

“Uh-huh… I’m coming over for lunch. I’ve heard there’s a gorgeous dark-skinned Alpha in his team.”

“Okay, I’ll wait for you.”

In the conference room, there were boxes and boxes of papers. Matheus took off his suit jacket and tie, and Alexia rolled up his shirt sleeves affectionately. Alanna watched, frowned, and sat on the opposite side with Charlotte and her team members. They were all working hard, and now and then, Matheus would get close to Alexia in a way that suggested some familiarity.

At noon, Vanessa knocked on the door and entered the room.

“So, shall we have lunch? I made reservations at that restaurant you like.”

“Thanks, I really needed a peaceful lunch.”

Matheus raised an eyebrow, listening to their conversation.

“I think we can take a lunch break, maybe two hours?”

Matheus responded:

“No, we can’t! We have a lot of work to do.”

“We made good progress this morning, and there’s no set time to finish, so a longer lunch wouldn’t hurt.”

“We can order something and eat here.”

“We can go out for lunch like normal human beings.”

“Yesterday, you didn’t even want to eat; today, you’re all excited about going out with her.”

“I really think you need a cat because while you’re busy taking care of its nine lives, you’d forget about mine. Folks, I’m going out for lunch, and I’ll be back in two hours. Let’s go, Vanessa!”

Alanna left, and her team followed without hesitation.

“Dammit!”

Matheus hit the table.

“What the hell was that, Matheus?” Anthony asked.

“What’s going on between you two?” David inquired.

“Nothing… I mean everything! I honestly don’t know.”

“So, the Omega was…?”

“Yes, it was Alanna Tomlinson.”

Anthony burst out laughing.

“Are you jealous of her friend?!”

“Couldn’t you tell???”

Alexia and David exchanged puzzled glances.

“I guess we’d better go to lunch,” Alexia suggested.

“Yeah, let’s go.”

Alanna arrived at the restaurant and ordered coffee.

“Lunching on coffee?”

“Of course.” Alanna tapped her foot on the ground repeatedly. “Did you see? Did you see?”

“Alanna, first of all: you can’t have coffee for lunch! Second: calm down! Third: what was that? I’ve never seen you lose control in front of your employees before!”

“I didn’t lose control; I just stated my position!”

“You two looked like children playing with a tug-of-war rope!”

“He’s not my boss; I’m the boss! He’s a guest! A guest who’s very attentive to that busty Omega! I’m sure those breasts are silicone! And that butt… did you see? Did you see? It’s padding! No one could have a butt that big and walk without losing balance!”

“Hm…”

“Are you listening to yourself? Hm? You’re turning purple with jealousy!”

“Who? Me? Never! He can sleep with whoever he wants.”

“Okay, what’s this about a kiss?”

“Ah, that was yesterday, after he fed me.”

“Huh? Lol it gets better every second!”

“Stop it, Vanessa!”

“LOL, he’s got it bad for you!”

“For me? If he did, he wouldn’t be fondling someone else. Let’s change the subject. I need to think about something else.”

“Okay, your mom called me.”

“Okay, let’s talk about something else.”

Matheus entered the restaurant with a sour expression and was immediately questioned by David.

“Alright, explain. What’s your deal with the Omega?”

“I don’t want to talk about it.”

Anthony grinned and chimed in, “Our Matheus met Alanna on a dating app. They spent her heat together, going at it like passionate rabbits. But when the heat was over, the lovely lady left, leaving our friend alone, abandoned, and hanging in the wind!”

Everyone burst into laughter.

“And you didn’t know she was the lawyer on the other side, Matheus?”

“I had no idea!”

“And now?”

“Now I’m getting turned on just by smelling her from a mile away!”

“And her?” Anthony asked teasingly.

“She’s stubborn as ever! And I feel… alright, like a horny idiot in heat.”

“We noticed!”

“The sex was amazing! But she’s so bossy and closed off. At the same time, she’s sweet and adorable. I want to hold her, protect her, just like I did during her heat! It would’ve been perfect if time had just stopped then.”

“Hmm, our Matheus is a romantic!” David remarked.

“And there’s always that annoying friend or the secretary around.”

“We’ll find a solution,” Alexia said with a smile.

“How?”

“We’ll do the same thing I did with David! It worked so well that we’ll be married in two months!”

“True!” David agreed.

“Alright, we’ll invite her for some drinks, and you and I can flirt a bit. Let’s see how she reacts.”

“And if she brings her friend?”

“I’ll take care of her!” Anthony chuckled. “She’s more my type!”

“Alright then.”

Upon returning to the office, Matheus walked in with a smile, arm in arm with Alexia. Alanna was still standing, talking to Vanessa. Anthony approached them and said:

“We were thinking if you guys would like to show us London’s nightlife! We could have dinner, grab some drinks… What do you think?”

“That would be great! Pleasure to meet you; my name is Vanessa,” Vanessa responded before Alanna could say anything.

“The pleasure is mine. And you, Alanna? You’re coming with us, right?”

“Of course she is! We can have some drinks and food,” Vanessa answered on Alanna’s behalf again, before she could refuse.

“But I have to wake up early tomorrow.”

“We all do, Alanna. See you later!”

Vanessa left the room, swaying her hips with the certainty that Anthony was staring at her butt. When she looked over her shoulder, she saw that Anthony was indeed admiring the view. Vanessa giggled.

“So, where were we?” Matheus caught everyone’s attention, and the rest of the workday proceeded smoothly. At 6:00 PM, Alanna headed to her office and found Vanessa already waiting.

“There’s no use; I’m not going!”

“Ahhh, you will! I want to devour your Alpha’s friend, and without you, I have no reason to go!”
